By Femina is a socially minded, female-first brand producing luxurious silk scarves and other accessories. Each step of the production process provides opportunities to under-privileged women globally, from the production of the silk, to the designs of the prints, to the art and printing of the labels. 

The brand was founded by Jandara Almeida, a Brazilian entrepreneur based in London. 

Jandara spent ten years working for a range of fashion and luxury brands both in Brazil and in the UK before deciding to dedicate herself to supporting women in need across the globe. By Femina is the joining of Jandara’s passion for fashion and luxury accessories with her desire to create and support a global female community with a unique DNA. Where female artists, designers, seamstresses, and photographers can connect and inspire each other. 

By Femina partners with a new artist for each collection, providing them with crucial exposure for their art around the world. Every single supplier for the business is carefully chosen for their dedication to sustainable, female-focussed business.
